San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission
The San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission (SJRRC) owns and operates and is the policy-making body for the Altamont Corridor Express (ACEĀ®) service. SJRRC is governed by a Board of Directors which consists of six full-voting members from San Joaquin County and two special-voting members from Alameda County. The members are appointed by the San Joaquin Council of Governments (SJCOG) and are based on nominations by the local elected government. Ex-officio members represent Caltrans District 10, the San Joaquin Regional Transit District (SJRTD), SJCOG and the Stanislaus Council of Governments (StanCOG).
SJRRC meetings are held regularly on the first Friday of each month at the San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission in Stockton. These meetings are open to the public and there is an opportunity on every agenda for the public to offer comments.
