Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee
The Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) is one of the StanCOG Standing Committees. This committee provides recommendations to the Policy Board on matters related to bicycle and pedestrian issues in the Stanislaus region. It reviews transportation projects and recommends planning efforts that enhance non-motorized transportation opportunities in the Stanislaus region.
Its membership is comprised of a resident from each member jurisdiction who are bicycle/pedestrian enthusiasts.
BPAC meetings are held the first Wednesday of every other month at 10:00 am. These meetings are open to the public and there is an opportunity on every agenda for the public to offer comments. Meetings are typically held in the StanCOG Board Room, 1111 I Street, 3rd floor, in downtown Modesto, however, in accordance with Assembly Bill (AB) 361, StanCOG meetings are being held electronically until further notice. Information on how to participate is included on the front page of meeting agendas.
Applications from the public for membership on the BPAC are solicited and encouraged! Please complete the application below if you are interested in serving on the committee.
