As the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and Regional Transportation Planning Agency (RTPA) for the Stanislaus Region, the Stanislaus Council of Governments (StanCOG) develops an annual listing of federally funded projects.
This year’s report indicates that $82,040,502.35 in federal funds were obligated for transportation projects in FFY 2021-2022 (October 1, 2021 – September 30, 2022) . Of the $ 82,040,502.35 in federal obligations for the Stanislaus region, approximately $330,000 were bicycle and pedestrian improvements, $69.585 million were bridge related projects, $6.735 million were for maintenance and operations, $ 4.594 million were roadway projects and $845,000 were transit related projects.
